Director & Founder
Nathan Hartley is the Director and Founder of Step One Finance and is a highly qualified
broker in Adelaide, South Australia. Nathan’s expertise covers all aspects of lending for a
diverse range of applications – from business loans, personal loans, first home buyers’ loans,
refinancing loans, property investor loans, asset loans and loans for the self-employed.
Nathan began his journey within the finance industry 8 years ago and during this time he
has worked alongside some of the best brokers across Australia. Nathan won the 2020 SA /
NT Emerging Client Protection Broker of the Year and has extensive experience when it
comes to complex deals, from separations to purchases using many trusts and company set-
ups. Nathan is also experienced when it comes to commercial and asset lending ensuring
you have the best possible financial solution to keep you and your business moving forward.

Beth is 23 years old, last year she began her forever career and hasn’t looked back. Having a background in hospitality she has a natural talent to talk to clients and achieve all her goals.
She has recently completed her diploma in mortgage broking and finance. Being the personal assistant to the executive director she has great experience in the industry.

She brings a wealth of experience from her background in sales and customer service, where she developed a natural talent for engaging with clients and consistently achieving her goals. Her ability to communicate effectively and understand client needs has been a significant asset in her current role.
Currently, Samantha excels as the personal assistant to the executive director. Her position has allowed her to gain comprehensive industry knowledge and hands-on experience in various aspects of the business. She is known for her exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive approach to problem-solving.
Samantha's role involves coordinating executive schedules, managing communications, and ensuring that all administrative tasks are handled efficiently. Her dedication and expertise enable her to support the executive director effectively, contributing to the overall success of the organization. Her colleagues and superiors appreciate her reliability, professionalism, and the positive energy she brings to the workplace.
Rosa Pacino
Broker Administration Officer
Rosa began her career in finance in 2024, bringing with her a diverse background in real estate, cancer services, and hospitality. Her varied experience has equipped her with a unique skill set and a very inviting and friendly demeanor that clients and colleagues appreciate.
Currently, Rosa serves as the administration officer to the executive director. Despite her relatively short time in the finance industry, she has already gained significant experience and knowledge. Her role involves managing executive schedules, overseeing communications, and ensuring all administrative tasks are completed efficiently.
Rosa's dedication and ability to understand and meet customer needs make her a valuable asset to the team.
